Drive a bus? You'll know it's being replaced before anyone else does.Tell us first and get paid when we buy it. We never tell the owner — or your boss — who sent us unless you say so.

How much do you know about the bus?

Pick the one that fits. Every choice pays you when we buy. (Your name, phone and email carry over if you switch.)

💵 You earn $1,000 for one bus, or $750 per bus when we buy 2 or more from the same owner. Paid after we buy.

Takes about 5 minutes. Your answers save as you go.

So we know who to pay

About you

Your info stays private. We never share it with the bus owner unless you tell us to.

Who owns the bus?

A company or church name and the town is often enough.

🔒 Unless you pick "mention me" or "I'll introduce you," the owner never learns who sent us.

Buses already advertised publicly — dealer sites, auctions, Facebook, Craigslist and the like — don't qualify for a finder bonus. You're still welcome to send it, and we'll call you if it's one we didn't know about.

Work for a public agency or school district? Check your employer's policy on outside payments before submitting.

Tell us about the bus

Fill in what you know and leave the rest blank. Even "white shuttle with a lift" helps.

Describe one or a few representative buses below. If you have a fleet list or spreadsheet, upload it on the next step.

Timing & title

Helps us move fast before someone else does.

We can't buy buses with liens. Once the loan is paid off and the owner has a clear title in hand, send it in — your lead still counts from today's date.

How should we pay you?

Your bonus is paid after we buy the bus. Tell us how you'd like it sent.

What a lead sounds like

Most leads start as one line of small talk. If you hear any of these, that's money — send it in.

"Our new buses come in this spring."
"The grant came through for replacements."
"We lost the contract — the buses are just sitting."
"The church doesn't run the van program anymore."
"They're closing the senior center."
"Corporate wants the shuttles off the books."
"The lease is up at the end of the year."
"He passed, and the family doesn't know what to do with the bus."

How a $9,000 lead happens

An example of the program working the way it's built to. Swipe →

Day 1A mechanic hears it in the shop

The hotel he services is replacing its 12 airport shuttles. He sends a lead from his phone: the hotel, the city, the fleet manager's name and a few photos.

Day 2We confirm he's first

He gets a text with his lead number. We call the hotel's fleet manager — he chose "keep me out of it," so we never mention him.

Week 3We inspect and make an offer

Clear titles, no liens. We agree on all 12 and load them on our flatbeds.

Week 5He gets paid

12 buses × $750 = $9,000. Had he only sent a quick tip, it would have been $4,500 — the details were worth it.

What counts as a lead

We pay for buses we couldn't have found on our own.

Qualifies

  • Not advertised anywhere publicly
  • Fleets being retired, replaced or downsized
  • End-of-lease, closing businesses, estates
  • Owners who haven't started selling yet
  • You're the first to tell us

Doesn't qualify

  • Buses on dealer websites or lots
  • Auctions — GovDeals, Public Surplus, Manheim, IAA and the like
  • Facebook Marketplace or Facebook groups, Craigslist, eBay, skoolie.net
  • Any bus with a public listing online
  • Owners we're already talking to
  • Buses with liens or no clear title

Pro Finder

Build a pipeline. Earn big money.

The finders who earn the most don't wait to stumble on a bus — they keep a running list. Every fleet you know has a replacement date. Get in front of all of them and the bonuses keep coming.

Map your territory

Churches, senior centers, hotels, dealers' trade-ins, transit contractors — every fleet you service or drive past.

Send everything

"Replacing next spring" is a lead. Your 90-day credit starts the day you submit — resubmit when it gets closer.

Pro Finders get our hot list by text first, a direct line to Manny, and top spot on the payouts board.

One 12-bus fleet a year = $9,000. Three = $27,000.

Questions

When do I get paid?

After we own the bus — title transferred and bus in our possession. We'll need a W-9 before paying.

What if someone else sends the same bus?

First complete lead wins. Every submission is time-stamped, and we'll tell you whether you're first.

How long is my lead good for?

90 days from the day you submit it. If we buy within that window, you're paid.

Do I have to talk to the owner?

No. Point us to them. We handle the contact, inspection, offer, paperwork and hauling.

Will you tell the owner — or my boss — that I sent you?

No, unless you tell us to. You choose on the form, and "keep me out of it" is the default. Sellers are never named on our site either.

What if I only know a little?

Send a quick tip. A name, a place, something you heard is enough. If we buy because of it, you earn $500 per single bus or $375 per bus on a fleet.

Is there a limit to how much I can earn?

No. Send as many leads as you find. A 20-bus fleet pays $15,000.

Do I need to work in the bus business?

No. Anyone can be a finder. People around buses just hear about them first.

Is this for real?

Yes. Best Buses For Sale is a family-run, New Jersey licensed dealer (#08711U). We buy buses nationwide with our own money and haul them ourselves. Call us any time at (516) 852-2748.

Do you buy buses with liens?

No. The owner needs a clear title in hand, with no liens.

Program terms. Bonus paid only on buses Best Buses For Sale purchases from a qualifying lead: full leads earn $1,000 for a single bus or $750 per bus when we buy 2 or more buses from the same owner; quick tips earn $500 for a single bus or $375 per bus for 2 or more. A full lead includes the owner's name, the bus location and bus details; anything less is a quick tip. Leads must be for buses not publicly advertised and not already known to us. First complete submission receives credit; credit lasts 90 days from submission. Payment issued after title transfer and possession; W-9 required. Finders are responsible for complying with their employer's policies and any rules on gifts or outside payments, including rules for public-agency and school-district employees. Best Buses For Sale may decline any lead or purchase and may change or end the program at any time.
